Over Capacity Violations
Fire code violations can be disastrous to bars and nightclubs.
With steep fines, and forced shutdowns, a single violation can easily lead to bankruptcy. Not to mention that running over capacity is a serious safety concern, and often doesn’t result in greater profitability over time. Patrons don’t like feeling squeezed, and servers can’t efficiently serve drinks with an overcrowded bar.
Venues with multiple points of entry, or multiple divided rooms face additional challenges. Tracking and counting guests often requires a complex setup with constant communication via radios that often lead to inaccurate and unreliable counts.
